James (Jim) was born on a farm in Logan County, Kentucky. He was in the Navy and served during WWII. He became an aerospace parts salesman and then a cattle rancher before retiring. He loved to fish and golf and be with his family. He is preceded in death by his wife Katherine, his son Larry, as well as two brothers and eight sisters. He leaves behind his sons Paul (Jenny) and Norman (Korey). Also five grandchildren; Amy Delong (Cliff), Shellie Allen (DeWayne), Rebecca Cragin (Chris), Karen Hankins, and Tamarie Whitlow. He also leaves seven great grandchildren; Ashley & Brandon Delong, David Hankins, Madilyne & McGregor Cragin, Chloe & Hailey Allen, and many other family members and dear friends. You will be deeply missed "Papa". Private graveside at a future date.
