BALDWIN — Amy Bodin Clements, 73, a native of Four Corners and a resident of Charenton for the past 23 years, died Saturday, June 2, 2007, at her residence.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed Tuesday at Sacred Heart in Baldwin from 9 a.m. until time of services with a rosary being prayed at 10:30 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart with the Rev. Gregory Cormier officiating. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Charenton.

Pallbearers will be Barry Clements, Timothy Clements, Carl Krieg, Barry Clements Jr., Frank Greaux and Jeffery Alcorn.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bryant Tabb and Steve Clements.

Mrs. Clements is survived by her husband of 53 years, Harold Joseph ‘KaTa’ Clements of Charenton; three sons, Barry Clements and wife Christine of Jeanerette, Timothy Clements and companion Donis Mire of Coteau, and Steve Clements and wife Kate of New Iberia; daughter, Paula Krieg and husband Carl of Youngsville; two brothers, Elias Bodin of New Iberia, and Gerald Bodin of Breaux Bridge; sister, Dorothy Migues of New Iberia; four helpful friends and neighbors, Jed Robison and wife Diane, and Robert Dumesnil and wife Chris, all of Charenton; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Saul and Madeline Hains Bodin; and sister, Flavia Sanchez.

Mrs. Clements was a dedicated teacher. She taught catechism for seven years. She was a lector in Glenco for 25 years, and a lector in Baldwin for three years. Mrs. Clements was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend. She touched many hearts and will be missed by all.
