Andrew W. Mackey
Andrew W. Mackey, 71, of Nunda, father of James Mackey of Dansville, died Friday (Mar. 9, 1979) in Noyes Memorial Hospital here following a long illness.
Born in Mt. Morris, he had lived in Nunda for the past 33 years. He retired from Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea in 1969 after 21 years of employment there. He also operated a clock repair service.
He was an exempt member of the Nunda Fire Department and was a member of the American Bell Association.
Also surviving are his wife, Mary C. Mackey; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph A. Rizzo of Mt. Morris; a son, Richard of Kissimmee, Fla.; a brother, Gordon of Mt. Morris; and five grandchildren.
A funeral service was conducted Sunday in Nunda. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery there.
