Carter, Mamie Odell, 88, of Ashland, departed this life Thursday, January 24, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman L. Carter, Sr. She leaves to cherish her loving memory daughters, Joyce Ball (James): Sharon Boone (Lewis); sons, Herman Jr. (Antoinette), Calvin, Ronald (Delynda) and Sandy (Rocky) Carter; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other loving relatives and friends. Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., where a viewing will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m Monday, January 28, 2019, followed by a 1 p.m. homegoing celebration. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens.
