He was born April 2, 1926, at Hackelburg, Ala., a son of Willy S. and Mary Helen Burleson Frederick. He married Lena M. Tesney Sept. 16, 1950, at Fulton, Miss. She survives.
Also surviving are a son, Anthony, Pekin; a brother, Royce, Sylacauga, Ala.; two sisters, Audrey Franks, Childersburg, Ala., and Ola Frederick, Hackelburg, Ala.
Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
He was a World War II veteran. He was a millwright at Caterpillar Tractor Co. since 1949.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
