Martha Adalene Farmer (nee Briscoe) was born September 19, 1931 in Beattyville, Kentucky, and left this earth on January 18, 2019. She married Calloway Farmer in June of 1954. He predeceased her in March of 2008. She was one of twelve children born to Charlie L. Briscoe and Hessye Tincher Briscoe, both deceased. She was baptized as a teen in a creek in Idamay, Kentucky and worked at a diner in Beattyville as a young woman. She spent most of her working years at the Ohmart Corporation in Cincinnati as an electronic technician.

She leaves behind three children, Monty Farmer (Becky), Marcia Secaur (Craig), and Mike Farmer (Lori), granddaughter, Ashley Farmer, step-grandson Chris Secaur, step-granddaughter Jenny Henderson, and step-great grandchildren Ondrej Secaur, Gage Henderson, Samantha Henderson, and Maverick Henderson. She was predeceased by siblings Ronnie Briscoe, Paul Briscoe, Ida Mae Brown, and Virginia Lynch. She leaves behind siblings Fred Briscoe (Brenda), Betty Crauder, Patty Deible (Dale), Donnie Briscoe (Norma), Phyllis Moberly, Ralph Briscoe (Kathy), and Charles Briscoe Jr. (Lynne).

Nothing was more important to her than her large and loving family, and she will be greatly missed.

Funeral will be Wednesday Jan. 23rd at 12:00 noon with visitation hour prior at Staley Funeral Home 7140 Plainfield Rd. Deer Park, Ohio 45236. Memorials suggested to the American Heart Association. Online guestbook at www.staleyfuneralhome.com
