Aaron Bickel, 67 died Sunday afternoon, at the Logansport hospital, where he has been the past year.
He was born near Gravelton, Oct 21, 1875 the son of George and Elizabeth Reinbold Bickel. He spent most of his life west of Wakarusa in Madison township.
He was married to Clara Ebersole forty-five years ago, who survives with the children, three daughters, Mrs Lola Smith of Palmetto, Florida, Mrs Willard Pittman of Bremen and Mrs Joseph Molnar of Mishawaka, and one son, Ralph Bikel of Mishawaka; two sisters, Mrs Frank Doriot of Elkhart and Mrs Ben Wise of Wakarusa; and two brothers, Andy of Elkhart and Amos of Wakarusa.
The Rev. Gordon Kemble will be in charge of funeral services at 2 pm Thursday at the local Christian church, followed by burial in the North Union cemetery. The body was brought to the Lienhart home Sunday evening from Logansport.
