Native of Milstead, GA; son of Nettie Peel Yarber of Conyers, GA, and the late Alford Lewis “Pete” Yarber.
An avid hunter, fisherman, and a member of Praise Cathedral. Lved talking about and was dedicated to his Georgia Dawgs and Atlanta Braves. He was very passionate in all he did. Despite his seemingly tough exterior, he had a warm heart full of compassion.
Also surviving are his devoted wife of 37 years, Keri Stewart Yarber; three daughters, Rayanna Brown (Mitchell) of Covington, Georgia, Brittany Yarber (James Landers) of Spartanburg and Hannah Yarber of Covington, GA; and three grandsons that he loved fiercely, James Eric Landers, Jr., Hayden Jeremiah David Landers and Clark Elijyah Stewart Brown.
Predeceased by his brother, Dennis Yarber; sister, Rhonda Sanders; and a nephew, Randall Yarber.
Memorial service was held at a later date.
