Mrs. Thelma Lee Dover Cabe, 68, of 1809 N. Hwy. 321 died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1997, at Piedmont Medical Center. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Riverside Baptist Church, with the Revs. Dr. John W. Cabe and Harry Peart III officiating. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery in Clover.
Born in York County, Mrs. Cabe was a charter member of
Riverside Baptist Church in Rock Hill. She was an avid collector of Barbie dolls. Surviving are her husband, Joseph "Joe" David Cabe; two sons, Tommy Cabe of Clover and the Rev. Dr. John W. "Bill" Cabe of York; two daughters, Joanne Lentz of York and Peggy Meredith of Clover; two brothers, Avery Dover of York and Charlie Dover of Clover; two sisters, Ruby Horton of Jacksonville, Fla., and Nancy Chappel of Clover; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home in Clover and other times at the home of her son, Tommy Cabe, 2434 Southbend Road, Clover.
