Mr. Smith passed away Friday, January 25, 2019, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Smith; daughters, Julianna Walker Noah, Rachel Creswell (Jeff), Scarlet Walker (Tommy); sister, Louise "Sissy" Dobbs (Gene); grandchildren, Morgan (Samantha) and Elliott (Katelyn) Stevens, Amanda and Zachary Noah, Leigh, Adam and Tyler Walker; great-grandchild, Karson Solowes; and special friends, Jack Sullivan and Norman Wells, and special friend and nurse, Libby Garrison Carroll.
Along with his parents, Charles W. Smith, Sr., and Violet Lou Smith, he is also preceded in death by his daughter, Regina Aline Smith.
Mr. Smith was a Christian ever since he was 19 years old, and a member of Eden Westside Baptist Church. He worked at Birmingham Springs for over 20 years. He had a love for antique cars and carpentry and was a "jack of all trades." To know him was to love him, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
