Robert Louis McCorvey A life of praise and thankfulness becomes a life filled with miracles. Let thankfulness rule in your heart as you remember Robert Louis McCorvey born on august 7, 1955. He told us he saw the light and Jesus said "I am waiting" and we let his wings go to be home with his Lord and Savior on November 24, 2010 at the age of 55.

Surrounded by family, he leaves behind his wife Helene of 33 years; three children and their spouses; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Raymond; and leaves behind his mom, Pauline; brother Tony and sister Carla.
The family will receive visitors from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 30 at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 1 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church, 7401 Katy Freeway. Interment will be at Woodlawn cemetery.

Robert's love for family and friends has impacted so many lives. His Christ-like character has changed so many lives and will continue to do so. To God be the glory for the great things he has done. "to live is Christ; to die is gain" Robert would say. He gained a room in Heaven.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church for Missions.
