Juanita M. Powell, age 84, of Richmond, Indiana, died Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at Heritage House of Richmond.
Born November 27, 1934, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Brady and Dorothy Pochard Robinson, Juanita lived in this community most of her life. She graduated from New Salem High School in New Salem, Indiana. Juanita was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and Women of the Moose. She enjoyed playing Bingo, socializing with her “Happy Hour” Bunco club, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Dotty (John) Wright of Richmond; sons, Brad (Tonya) Powell and Joe Powell, both of Richmond, Walt Powell of Lynn, Indiana, and Kevin Powell and Scott (Angie) Powell, both of Richmond; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister, Pat (Bill) Couch of Metamora, Indiana; brother, Raymond Robinson of Metamora; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Raymond Powell, who died January 11, 2003; son, Michael Raymond Powell; parents; sister, Marge Wells; and brothers, Robert and Ralph Robinson.

Visitation for Juanita M. Powell will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2019, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2019, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Deacon Frank Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Millville Cemetery in Hamilton, Ohio.
