ELLSWORTH STORM
(1889-1983)
Ellsworth Storm, 68, of Portsmouth Rt. 6, retired salesman, died at 4:25 a.m. today at Smith-Everett Hospital. He had been a hospital patient since March 22 and was also hospitalized for a short while a year ago.
His wife, Mrs. Alice Storm, is also a patient at Smith-Everett. She was admitted to the hospital Tuesday after suffering a light heart attack. Hospital attendant today noted improvement and said Mrs. Storm's condition is "fairly good."
Mr. Storm was born May 19, 1895 in Mattoon, Ill., a son of George and Eva Tucker Storm.
He was a salesman for the Taylor Stone Co., and the Portsmouth Asphalt Co. before retiring four years ago.. He was a member o f First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Albert, 1377 Fourth St., West Portsmouth, and Ellsworth Jr., Portsmouth Rt. 6; a daughter, Mrs. Gretchen A?, 5412 Winchester Ave., Sciotodale; and two grandchildren.
The parents, a son, and a daughter preceded in death.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at Emrick Funeral Home, with Rev. George H. DeHority Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m.
