PAULINE ALICE EVANS FAWCETT, cherished mother of Farrah Fawcett and beloved wife of James Fawcett, passed away March 4, 2005 at the age of 91 precious years. Mrs. Fawcett was born January 30, 1914, in Henryetta, Oklahoma to John and Mattie Johnson Evans. She and James married and spent 67 years wonderful together, living in Corpus Christi, then moving to Houston in 1965. Mrs. Fawcett loved joining her daughter Farrah in many appearances and functions all over the world. She and Jim accompanied Farrah while she hosted a fund raiser in London with Prince Charles and Lord Mountbatten. They also attended a charity ball with Farrah at the White House at the personal request of President and Mrs. Reagan. She was active with Farrah in many film endeavors in Hollywood, appearing in such films as Sunburn with Farrah Fawcett and Charles Groden. They were interviewed together on The Barbara Walters Mother's Day Special along with Robin Williams and Steven Speilburg and their mothers. She also appeared in her own video called Silver Foxes Aerobics with Richard Simmons, a fitness program for silver citizens, along with Sal Pacino, father of Al Pacino; Harry Hoffman, father of Dustin Hoffman; and Jacqueline Stallone, mother of Sylvester Stallone. Her last appearance was with Farrah and her husband Jim in Farrah's upcoming series "Chasing Farrah", which debuts March 23rd, 2005. Mrs. Fawcett was preceded in death by her daughter Diane Fawcett Walls; her grandson, Jefry Curtis Riggs, and is survived by her husband James Fawcett, daughter Farrah Fawcett, and her grandsons Redmond Fawcett O'Neal and Greg Walls. A Memorial Service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2005 in the Chapel of Klein Funeral Home, Father Peter J. Riga of St. Albans Catholic Old Church officiated. Film footage from "Chasing Farrah" which expressed Pauline's love and deep appreciation of her extraordinary life, left those attending with a feeling of joy and celebration. "Chasing Farrah" will be dedicated to the Memory of Pauline Fawcett.
