Sarah (McCoy) Clemens, w/o Civil War Veteran, Thomas Clemens/Clements. They married 19 Jan 1860 in Hendricks Cty, IN and were blessed with 8 children per Sarah's 1910 US Census. When Tom passed away in 1885, she raised her children on her own; Anna Sarah, Lucy Frances 'Fannie', Emily/Emma, John George, Charles, Thomas. It is unclear who the other 2 children are.

Sarah was a homemaker and housewife. She passed away at the Indiana State Soldiers Home from a cerebral hemorrhage. The hospital was the informant and they did not have any information on her. She had been a patient since April 25, 1925. S.P. Templeton of Lafayette, IN was entrusted with the arrangements. Burial was in Peru, IN 6 Jun 1925.
