Stephen was married to Diane Miller and later to Terry Tiensvold and had two daughters, Jennifer and Krystyn.
On June 17, 1991 Stephen was united in marriage to Lynda Kay Vernon in Cheyenne, WY. They made their home in Sidney. This marriage brought Stephen three step-children, Devin, Steven and Kayla.
Stephen worked as a feedlot rider and Manager, Alcohol/Drug counselor in Hay Springs, NE, Truck Driver, Cheyenne County Road Department worker and also worked at the Cabela’s warehouse.
