Indianapolis - Pamela J. Strattan-Holmes, 72, of Indianapolis, IN passed away January 15, 2019. Survivors include husband, Jerry Holmes; sons, Chris (Cindy) Roberts, Scott (Mary)Roberts; stepsons Ryan (Racquel) Holmes, Gabriel (Nicole)Holmes; stepdaughter, Noel Holmes (Glenn "Smokey") Irwin; sister, Jan (Dennis) Rahn; brother, Michael A. Strattan; 23 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Magdaline "Mickey" and Raymond J. Strattan.
Pamela graduated from Arsenal Technical High School, Class of 1964. She was retired from the Indianapolis Police Department after 27 years of service. A parishioner at Nativity Catholic Church, she was also active in the Retired Police Officers Association as well as a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church, 5353 McFarland Road, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. Officiating will be Father Steve Bannet. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
Arrangements are being handled by Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 W US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130.
