Peggy was a graduate of Smithsburg High School, class of 1958. In addition to being a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker, she was a bookkeeper for Horst Fencing and the family business R-N-R Auto Body where she delighted the employees with her weekly baked goods. Peggy was a member of Salem Reformed Church, Hagerstown, since 1962.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 60 plus years, Kenneth Lee Reid, whom she married September 16, 1960; two children, Ronald Reid, and Traci Green; three grandchildren, Ryan Reid, Ross Reid, and Madison Green; two great-grandchildren, Owen and Evan Reid; and her golden retriever, Macee.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery. Arrangements by the Rest Haven Funeral Home.
