Survivors include his companion, Tammy Clay; sons, Mel (Pam) Bryant of Chattanooga, Darryl Bryant of Knoxville, Milton Cooper, III of Hartsville, TN, Robert Davis of Chicago, IL, and Tristian Cooper of Chattanooga; daughters, Victoria Appleberry, Rosemary (Alfred) Wiley, Aquanella (Jermaine) Smiley, Candice Cooper (Dale Jennings), Shanesha (Ed) Morris, Deondra Cooper, and Tiara Moore, all of Chattanooga; 39 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, James (Margaret) Cooper of Chattanooga and Charles Cooper of Dayton, OH; sisters, Vickie Cooper, Carolyn (Oscar) Jackson, and Shelly (John) Hardy, all of Chattanooga; aunts, Ann Wilkes of Chattanooga and Brenda Grishom of Maryville, TN; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 8, 2018 in the Taylor Funeral Home chapel with Brother John R. Taylor, Sr. as the eulogist.
