Born in Pataskala, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Franklin T. and Elma E. (Fellows) Bowen. She was the loving wife of Charles N. Heller for 61 years.
Mary worked as an office assistant for Dr. Gale Burrier for many years, later working in the Reproduction Dept. for Western Electric in Columbus, Ohio, and worked as a Real Estate agent for Merrill Lynch in Greensburg, Pa. She was a member of Immaculate Conception BVM RC Church in Douglassville, Pa. Mary enjoyed golf, gardening, flowers, spending time with grandchildren and genealogy research.
Surviving Mary, along with her husband, are 1 son, Charles Kyle Heller, husband of Colleen, of Phoenixville, Pa.; 2 daughters, Kimberly J. Wright, wife of Richard, of Camp Hill, Pa.; and Kristine H. Mangan, wife of Patrick J., of Douglassville, Pa. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
She was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Bowen; and a grandson, Austin Heller.
A viewing will be held on Thursday evening, January 17, 2019, at the Dengler Funeral Home Inc., 144 N. Spruce St., Birdsboro, Pa., from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception BVM RC Church, 905 Chestnut St., Douglassville (Union Twp.), Pa. There will be a viewing Friday morning from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be held in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery. Dengler Funeral Home, Inc., Birdsboro, Pa., is in charge of the arrangements.
