OBITUARY
Margaret Shell was born July 30, 1850, in Ohio, and died March 7th, 1922, at her home in Goldendale. When a child five years old, her parents moved to Iowa. On April 7th, 1867, she was married to William Tuttle. After living in Kansas for some time, they moved to Klickitat County, Washington, 30 years ago last December.
Eleven children were born to them, three dying in infancy and one, Martha, died at the age of fifteen. She leaves two brothers, John Henry Shell, of Moscow, Idaho, and Samuel Shell, of Boardman, Oregon, together with a heart broken companion and seven children, Mrs. John Anderson, of Goldendale; Mrs. Wes Beeks, of Rock Creek; Mrs. Ben Emerson, of Rimrock; Ira and Ed Tuttle, of Pleasant Valley; Mark Tuttle, of Portland, and Frank Tuttle, of this vicinity.
When about 20 years of age, she obeyed the Gospel, and was a devoted wife and mother.
Funeral services were conducted by Evangelist H.G. Cassell from the Pleasant Valley school house, March 9th, with burial in the Pleasant Valley cemetery.
