Clifton A. "Skip" Albright, 83, of 29 Milltown Road, Cooper Farms, died Saturday of congestive heart failure in Christiana Hospital.

Mr. Albright worked in the telephone and signaling department of the Pennsylvania Railroad for more than 40 years. He retired in 1969. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Roselle, where he was a trustee, former Sunday school teacher and treasurer of the adult fellowship. He was a 42-year member of Green Hills Lions Club, where he was a former treasurer and chairman of the hospital equipment committee for 20 years. He was named Lion of the Year in 1982.

He is survived by his wife, Blanche I.; a son, William C. of Parksley, Va.; a brother, Quentin T. of Newark; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Highway, Elsmere, where friends may call after 1. Burial will be in Silverbrook Memorial Park, Lancaster Avenue and Du Pont Road. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Christ United Methodist Church, Wilmington.
