Kokomo resident Rebecca L. (Becki) Beaver, 46, died suddenly Tuesday afternoon, August 2, 2005. She was born February 14, 1959 here in Kokomo, the daughter of John Courtland and Mary Kathryn (Gunning) Beaver. Becki earned her GED and was working on her communications degree from IU Kokomo. She worked for more than five years as a screen printer in Indianapolis. She was a member of NA (narcotics anonymous), the Hepatitis C Support Group, she loved cooking and reading biographies. She was a very big fan of Abraham Lincoln and she loved animals, especially cats and monkeys. She was a ‘great' aunt. She is survived by her father; John C. Beaver and his wife June, her brother; Don Beaver, her sister; Mary Ann Kincaid, a special nephew; Brian Watson, her sister; Vicki Watson, her nephew; Rob Kincaid and his wife Denise, all of Kokomo, her nieces; Katie Childers and her husband Tim of Kempton, Becki Maratea and her husband Jim of Sharpsville, her great-nieces and nephews; Autumn, Randy, Ashely, Sean and Julie, all of Kempton and a sister-in-law; Margie von Marenholtz and her husband Bob of Silverdale, WA. Becki was preceded in death by her mother; Mary Kathryn Beaver, her brothers; David Lawrence Beaver and John Theodore Beaver and her sisters; Alice Joann Beaver and Janet Elizabeth Beaver.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 5, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. in Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Point Cemetery. Friends may call from noon to two Friday before the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Hepatitis C Research Foundation, envelopes are available at the funeral home.
