Martha Marie Dickens 91 years of age of Greystone Assisted Living, Beaver, WV died after a long illness Monday, May 7 at CAMC Memorial Division, Charleston. Born June 13, 1926 at Dameron, WV. She was the daughter of the late Guy and Stella Richmond Cantley. Mrs. Dickens loved yard work and her cats, Pumpkin and Timmy. She enjoyed going to church until her health declined. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Cecil Benton Dickens and three sisters: Ruby Eskew, Ruth Woods and Diann Proudfoot. She is also preceded in death by four brothers: Benton, Howard, Paul (Buster) and Guy (Ed) Cantley. She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Goldenetz (David) and Karen Russell (Donnie); two grandsons, Donnie (Rusty) Russell and Jamie Russell; two great grandson, John Russell and Spencer Russell; three sisters: Phyllis Dalton, Bonnie Williams and Kay Terry; a brother, Warren Cantley and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday afternoon May 11, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Miller Cemetery, Rock Creek,WV
