William J. McKee, 51, Northwood Mobile Park, was found dead yesterday at his home. He had been ill several months with a heart condition.
He was born Nov. 3, 1926, in Hanging Rock, son of William A. and Effie (Simmons) McKee.
In 1945, he married the former Juanita Brumfield.
She survives with two children, Mrs. James (Leoma) Fogt and Joe McKee; five grandsons and a granddaughter; a stepmother, Betty McKee; a sister, Mrs. John (Harriett) Williamson; four half-sisters, Pauline, Darlene, Lacy and Esther; and six half-brothers, Frances, Earl, George, Gene, Eddie and Richie.
Mr. McKee, a World War II Army veteran, was employed at the Stolle Corporation.
Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Cromes Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Hovestreydt officiating. Burial will be in Shelby Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the home tomorrow afternoon and evening.
