THELMA PORTER

Thelma B. Porter, 77, of 6506 Gallia St., Sciotoville, died Wednesday at Mercy Hospital, after a brief illness.
A native of Greenup County, Ky., she was a member of Gephart Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Clyde B. Porter; seven sons, Clarence Porter of New Boston, Gerald Porter of Eden Park, Maxwell Porter of Gephart Road, Jerry Porter of Simi Valley, Calif., Donnie Porter of Sciotodale, John Porter of South Webster, and Danny Porter of Madison; two daughters, Mrs. John (Betty J) Rollins of Sciotoville and Mrs. David (Karen) Roberts of Minford; four brothers, Delbert Grizzle and Benny Grizzle of Flatwoods, Ky., Orie Grizzle of Argillite, Ky., and Kenneth Grizzle of West Ironton; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Price of Westwood, Ky., and Mrs. Pauline Williams of Ashland, Ky.; 27 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Service is 10 a.m. Saturday at Don Wolfe Funeral Home in Sciotoville, with the Rev. William E. Cramer officiating, and interment in Memorial Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday one hour before the service.
