Mrs. Reba Sowders Hall, age 77, of Louisville, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on January 12, 2019. She was born in Barbourville, KY, on July 17, 1941 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest and Dorothy (Howard) Sowders. She retired from Tri-City Oldsmobile after 42 years. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church. She will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was a hard worker, who enjoyed gardening, cooking and fishing with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Barbara Hall and Bonnie Kinder; and brother, Harold Sowders. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 60 years, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and brother- in- law. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to MD Anderson Cancer Center, Hosparus Health of Louisville for the loving care they provided. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at St. Luke Catholic Church with burial in Penn Run Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
