Billie Ed Adams, 81, of Temple passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Baylor-Scott and White Hospital in Temple.
A graveside service for Mr. Adams will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with Pastor Michael Lewis officiating.
Bill was born on July 3, 1937 in Carnegie, Oklahoma to Daniel and Rosetta (Frazier) Adams. He grew up in Carnegie and later moved to Grapevine, Texas where he attended school. Mr. Adams joined the US Navy in 1955 and served during the Korean War until 1956. He later worked as a machinist for Allied System producing parts for the aircraft industry. Mr. Adams married Sondra Sublett on November 14, 1992 in Trophy Club, Texas. He and Sondra moved to Temple in 2017 where he was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Temple.
Survivors include his wife Sondra of Temple, son Eddie Adams and his wife Jennifer of Ft. Worth, daughter Teresa Lewis of Belton, step sons Floyd Waddell and his wife Kathy of Buckholts and Chris Waddell and his wife Diane of Rhome, Texas, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Dossman Funeral Home
