A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home in Nekoosa. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be next to his son Billy at Riverside Cemetery with military rites by Nekoosa VFW Post #5960.
Roger was born September 12, 1946 in Madison to Ernest and Frances (Holtze) Riddle. He is a Viet Nam War veteran who served in the US Army from 1965 to 1968. Roger married Elsie West on June 8, 1976 in Reno, NV. He was employed as a tire specialist at service stations for many years and was also a talented handyman.
He is survived by his wife Elsie Riddle; children Robert (Dorothy) Hyde, Joe (Angie) Hyde, Misty Stauts and Elsie (Christopher) Norton; 17 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; his sister Mary Larson; sisters in law Dorothy Ufken, Raelene Hyde and Edith Scott and by his brother in law Rocky West. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, son Billy Hyde and grandson Roger.
