Mary E. Lund, age 89, of Boscobel formerly of Barnum, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Care and Rehab of Boscobel. She was born October 31, 1929, at Steuben, WI to Roy and Velva (Dillman) Groom. She was married at the Little Brown Church at Nashua, IA to William Lund and he preceded her in death on May 17, 2008.
She was a member of the Congregational Church and the McCormick-Rose Legion Auxiliary of Gays Mills. She is survived by 3 sons, Greg (Mary Jane) Lund of Boscobel, Ed (Maggie) Lund of Gays Mills and Joe (Bernice) Lund of Soldiers Grove; grandchildren, Terry Lund, Kari Jo Sawvell, Victor Syverson, William Lund, Melissa Lund, Jesse Lund, Andy Lund, Anjie Whiteaker, Todd Lund, Reggie Lund, Renee Helin, Mandy Van Natta, Heather Rice, Kim Blaha, Kyle Lund and Traci Davis; 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Lund; sons, Gene, Glen and Randy; sisters, Betty Atkinson and Pat Ward.
Services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Beeman-Patchak Funeral Home, 104 Fremont St. Boscobel, WI 53805, Pastor Carrie Anderson will officiate, and burial will be at the Haney Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, January 15, j2019 at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until the time of services.
