Cora Lovelle Allen was born to Henry Harrison Allen and Barbara Frances "Fanny" Snipes in Louisiana, Pike, Missouri. Both her father and mother were raised there. This explains the confusion in the 1900 census that shows her born in Louisiana. Her family moved west to Oregon and Washington Territory. She married Samuel Storrow in 1894 at North Yakima, Yakima, Washington. They had one daughter, Elizabeth Randolph Storrow. In the late 1890s they moved to Los Angeles County, California where Cora died in 1909. Her husband remarried, but is not buried in the same cemetery as his 2nd wife. I cannot find a record that tells where Cora is buried, but I have assumed that she is buried with her husband Samuel at Mountain View Cemetery and Mausoleum, Altadena, Los Angeles, California.
