She is preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters, Betty Cook, Mary Ida Carter and Melveria Dees; 4 brothers, Lowell, Wesley, Aaron, and J.T. Lawson.

Visitation will be held Fri., Jan. 11, 2019 5-8 pm at Cook-Butler Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 1 pm, Sat., Jan. 12, 2019 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with burial to follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Final arrangements entrusted to Cook-Butler Funeral Home, 361-782-3821.
