SHOREHAM, VT. - David Clayton Cyr, age 53, of Shoreham, passed away on Wednesday, January 9th 2019 at his home.

Mr. Cyr was born on Friday, November 19th 1965 in Middlebury, Vt., he was the son of David Martin and Ida Bessie (Durkee) Cyr.

He grew up in Shoreham, Vt. where he received his early education.

He graduated from Middlebury Union High School Class of 1984.

Following graduation, he worked as a Machine Operator at Polymer’s Plastic for over 12 years.

He then Owned and Operated David Cyr & Son trash removal service, but was forced to retire due to illness in 2000.

He married Linda Marie Bigelow on July 25th 1987 in Middlebury, Vermont.

He enjoyed hunting, mud run’s and racing at Devil’s Bowel Speedway.

Surviving is his wife of Shoreham; whom he married on July 25, 1987, in Middlebury, one son; and one daughter; both of Orwell, one sister and nephew of Shoreham, along with one uncle; of Leicester.

Arrangements by the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home on 26 Franklin Street in Brandon, Vt.

A private graveside committal service and burial will take place in the spring at the Brookside Cemetery in Leicester, Vt.
