ISLIP, L.I.—John Gundersen, Yonkers painter for 45 years until he moved to Long Island five years ago, died last night at his home here after an illness of three months. He was born in Norway sixty-five years ago and came to the United States in 1890. His wife was the late Mrs. Fannie Olsen Gundersen. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Oscar [Edna] Olsen of 356 St. Johns Avenue, Yonkers, and Mrs. Edward [Mabel] Ohlrich of Valhalla, and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Havey's Funeral Home, Saturday.
