VIVIAN M. WHITE — NEW CREEK — Vivian Marie "Betty" White, 72, of New Creek, WV, died Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, WV.
Born on September 22, 1946 at New Creek, WV, she was a daughter of the late Olie and Ella Marie (Dean) Kimble. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wade White on February 13, 2008; a stepdaughter, Debra Cerra and a brother, Olie "Buck" Kimble, Jr.
Mrs. White was a 1965 graduate of Keyser High School. She had been employed by both Wampler and Perdue Industries in Moorefield and Petersburg, WV. She was a member of the Sunnyside Church of the Brethren, New Creek and the Ladies Auxiliary to Nancy Hanks Post # 3518, VFW, Keyser.
Surviving are her children, Angie Thompson of Antioch, WV, Eric Rhodes of Moorefield, WV and Olie Wade White and wife Joyce of Bowden, WV; two stepchildren, Jerry Wade White, II and wife Candy of Short Gap, WV and Patty Rice of Keyser; one brother, Kenny Kimble of New Creek; one sister, Pam Kimble of Keyser, WV; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Randy Shoemaker officiating.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
