MRS. HANNAH GIDEON-BOLING DEAD,
Widely Known Pioneer Settler Passes Away.

Mrs. Hannah Boling passed away, Thursday afternoon, July 2, 1918 at home of her daughter, Mrs Harvey McGranahan in St. Clere suffered
for the past six months with old age infirmities. The remains were buried in the St. Clere, Thursday, July 4, at 2:30 p.m. The ceremory being performed by Rev. Ellington of Emmett.

Mrs. Boling was born March 27, 1933 at Snickersville, Va. She was married to George W. Gideon of Loudoun Co., Virginia and lived near Snickersville for seventeen years. Nine children were born of which seven survive: W.F. Gideon, Morristown, Ohio, Mrs. Sarah C. West, 217 E. Paramore, Topeka, T.H. Gideon, Holton, G.L. Gideon Jensen, Fla., Mrs. Mary Chapman, Cameron W. Virginia, Mrs. Julie Jones,Ponca City, Okla. James and Rose Gideon having died. After the death of her husband, Mrs. Boling moved to Belmont, Ohio in 1866. In 1872, she was married to George Boling at Belmont and resided there until 1879, when they moved to St, Clere, Kansas.

Two children were born to this union: Charles Boling and Mrs. Harvey McGranhan.
