A very sad and sudden death occured last Thursday evening at 6 PM when Luie Antras, age 42, passed away at his home on Woolper Creek near Burlington. He had been in critical condition for some time due to chronic carditis. It finally was decided to remove him to a Cincinnati hospital for treatment, but when Dr. E. J. Love came for him he collapsed before he could be placed in the automonbile. He leaves a widow, Mrs. Lena Antras, five children and one brother Frank. His funeral took place from the Petersburg M. E. Church, of which he was a member, Saturday afternoon at 2 PM. Rev. Dunaway was in charge of the services. The deceased was a member of the American Legion and members of Boone Post No. 4 of Boone County attended the services. The corpse was wrapped in a large American Flag just before being lowered into the grave. Pall bearers were Horace Block, Orville Block, James Block, Claude Bryant, Floyd Emery and John Livingston. Chambers and Grubbs were in charge of the funeral arrangements.
