Kip worked as a heavy equipment operator for Deatley Construction for several years building roads and bridges. He later worked at the Coeur d’Alene Casino at Worley doing security work.
He enjoyed attending Pow Wows, spending time with his family and friends, and traveling. He was an avid Seattle Seahawks fan and enjoyed watching the Gonzaga Bulldog basketball games. Kip was a member of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Fish.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Kenneth Ignace Pierce, age 40, will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at 10:00 A.M. at the Rose Creek Longhouse in Worley, Idaho. Rosary will be held Monday evening at 7:00 P. M. at the Longhouse. Father Peter Byrne, S. J. will officiate at the services and burial will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Worley.
