Surviving him were his daughters, Thelma (John) Vanosdall, Maxine (John) Remmenga, sons, Harold (Beulah)Dyer and Gerald (Caroline) Dyer, 10 grandchildren. Also, sister, Anna (William) Conyers, brother, Daniel.
Oliver was a farmer all of his life, ending in a heart attack while fixing fences.
