John C. Neumeier

John C. Neumeier, 69, 1639 Franz Ave., died Sunday morning In a local hospital after a short illness. Mr. Neumeier was born in Gillett and married the former Lenore Checota, June 24, 1929. The couple lived in Townsend until 1942 when they moved to Green Bay. For 15 years Mr. Neumeier was superintendent for the U.S. Forest Service and for the past 20 years was employed by Hummel Lumber Inc. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Philips Church.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Eugene, Green Bay; one daughter, Mrs. Roger (Audrey) Calda, Green Bay; five grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas, Highland Park, Mich.; Frederick, Oconto; four sisters, Mrs. Felix Adriaenssens, Mrs. Arthur Rotter, both of Green Bay; Mrs. William Vernon, Lebanon, Tenn.; Helen Neumeier, Oconto.

At Malcore Funeral Home. Rosary 8 tonight by Msgr. Theodore Verbeten and the Holy Name Society. Funeral 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, St. Philip Church. Burial in Allouez Cemetery.
