Randy Kevin Lacefield, age 54, passed away Wednesday, (January 2, 2019) at his home in Millwood, KY.
He was born on December 24, 1964 in Tampa, Florida to Richard D. Lacefield and Veta Bodden. Randy was an old-school guy who enjoyed listening to Outlaw Country Music, watching old westerns, and farming. He owned and operated his own trucking company, Ran’s Trucking, for nearly 25 years. He was an all-around simple man. He is survived by his two sons, one granddaughter, his father, one brother, and two sisters . Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his mother, Veta Bodden Lacefield; one brother, Ricky Wayne Lacefield; and grandparents, Ethel and Eva Beatrice Lacefield and John and Ena Bodden. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, (January 5, 2019) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Donald Farris will be officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Union Cemetery in Butler County. Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
