Sue was born in Warner, OK, to father, Bradly Harris and mother, Gladis Willbanks on January 1, 1937. She was the Owner/Operator of Traveler's Cafe and Traveler's Hotel 30+ years. She enjoyed going to church and helping the homeless and mentally ill. She has achieved honors from the Yuba-Sutter Mental Health for helping the community.
Sue is survived by her daughter, Renee Newell of Olivehurst, CA; 4 grandchildren, Heather Elliott; and Tiffany Garland of Marysville, CA; Jessica Cook of Olivehurst, CA; and Kyle Lyon of Live Oak, CA; and 8 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel P. Garland; and her son, Daniel Paul Garland Jr.; and both of her parents.
Final Services will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019, 10:30 am, at Sierra View Mortuary, 4498 Olive Ave., Olivehurst, CA.
