MILDRED J. REDEKER

Mildred J. Redeker, age 83, a resident of the Manitowoc Health Care Center, formerly of 4010 Mishicot Road, Two Rivers, died Tuesday evening Sept. 25, 2001 at the Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, 2001 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Edward Stelter, with burial to follow in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mildred was born Aug. 13, 1918, in Mishicot, daughter of the late Benjamin and Bessie Hronek Landt. She attended the Meadowbrook School in the town of Kossuth. On June 19, 1937, she married Arvin W. Redeker at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Mishicot. The couple celebrated 63 years of marriage in June of 2000. Arvin preceded her in death Sept. 2, 2000. She was a faithful member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, since moving to Two Rivers a short time after their marriage. Mildred loved to bake, and enjoyed working in her flower garden.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, James and Ellen Redeker, and Ronald Redeker all of Two Rivers; one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Dwight Lesperance, Two Rivers; seven grandchildren, Mike (Lori) Redeker, Rick (Rita) Redeker, Patrick (Teha) Redeker, Scott (Melissa) Redekker, Tammy (Bruce) Sinkula, Tracy (Paul) Taylor, Tina (Brian) Taylor, and 12 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Melvin (Charlotte) Landt, Benny (Janice) Landt, all of Two Rivers; one sister, Leonora "Dolly" Landt, Two Rivers; one brother-in-law and a sister-in-law, Kenny Redeker; Ann (Albert) Johannes, both of Colorado; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Sharon Redeker, a great-granddaughter, Shelby Redeker; one brother and sister-in-law, Lester and Josie Landt, one sister and brother-in-law, Viola and Ralph Terens, and an infant sister.
Relatives and friends may call at St. John's Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, after 10:30 a.m. on Friday, until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. There will be no visitation this evening.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Two Rivers.
