GEORGE LAROSE

George LaRose, 72, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, died unexpectedly Monday morning enroute to Two Rivers Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Edward Stelter will officiate with burial in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Mr. LaRose was born Jan. 16, 1904, at Chippewa Falls, son of the late Charles and Lena Dietrich LaRose. He attended Chippewa Falls schools. He married Esther Beyer June 29, 1927, at Bel Plaine, Wis. He had been employed at Mirro Aluminum Co., Two Rivers, for 46 years, retiring in 1965. He was a member of Two Rivers, Manitowoc and Mishicot Senior Citizens, Rockwood Roundup, a square dancing club and St. John Lutheran Men's Club.

Survivors include his wife, a son, Donald, of Two Rivers, a daughter, Mrs. Harvey (Geraldine) Zemen, of Rt. 1, Maribel, and eight grandchildren. Four brothers and two grandchildren preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, from 4 to 9 o'clock this Tuesday evening and at the church after 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service. Members of the Senior Citizens will meet in a body at 6:30 o'clock this Tuesday evening. Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran organ fund or to the charity of the donor's choice.
