ESTHER E. LAROSE

Esther E. LaRose, age 94, of 1728 28th St, Two Rivers, currently residing at Wisteria House, died Thursday evening, April 6, 2000, at Two Rivers Community Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 10, 2000, at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Edward Stelter will officiate at the service. Burial to follow at Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.

She was born December 9, 1905, at Bell Plaine, Shawano County, Wis., daughter of the late Herman and Mary Splittgerber Geyer. On June 29, 1927, she was married to George LaRose at St. John Lutheran Church, Bell Plaine. He preceded her in death January 26, 1976. She was a member of St. John's Ladies Aide and the Quilters and also the Two Rivers Senior Citizens.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Geraldine and Harvey Zeman, Maribel; one daughter-in-law, Marian LaRose, a resident of North Ridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc; eight grandchildren, Sandra (Paul) Ryder, Jeff (Chris) Zeman, Greg (Diane) Zeman, Peggy (Dan) Simmer, Maria (Mark) Skubal, Wendy (Jim) Strutz, Dean (Debbie) LaRose, Jane (Nelson) Johnsrud; 16 great grandchildren; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Lillian Luckow, Two Rivers, Amanda Seehaffer, Green Bay, Margaret Balke, Clintonville, June (John) Jancel, Shawano; other sisters-in-law; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Donald LaRose; two grandsons, Allan LaRose and Glenn Zeman; six brothers and one sister.

Friends may call at St. John's Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, after 9:30 a.m. on Monday, until the time of service at 1 a.m. There will be no Sunday evening visitation.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, St. John's new school fund or Manitowoc Lutheran High School.
