Mass of Christian burial: 9 a.m. Thursday, June 25, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Hermitage, under the direction of Hathaway-Peterman Funeral Home, Wheatland. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. with prayer service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, at the funeral home.

Mr. Robinson, 90, of Hermitage died Monday at his home. He was born at Kansas City, Kan., the son of Willie Guy and Ethel Cummins Robinson.

He was a World War II Army veteran serving from 1942-1946. He had retired as chief of the Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department working from 1947-1977. He retired at age 71 from Skyline School as a bus driver and at age 81 retired from driving for Trail Liner. He was a lifetime member of the Galmey V.F.W. Post 9638, a member of the St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Hermitage, Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Joseph P. Marling Assembly 2111, Camdenton, and of Knights of Columbus Fr. Donald Powers Assembly Council 13786, Hermitage.

His mother and father and two brothers preceded him in death.Survivors include his wife, Betty Robinson; three daughters, Sandy Conway and husband Benny of Biloxi, Miss., Judy Neidel and husband Steve of Hermitage and Belinda Bialek of Kansas City; one son, William Robinson and wife Shelia of Bella Vista, Ark.; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Fr. Robert Fields will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the Galmey V.F.W. Post 9638. Graveside service is at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, Kan.
