Edith Pauline Wesche Daubenspeck Gasper was born in
Bridgeport, CT on Feb. 2, 1935 to Jack R. & Edith P (Christensen) Wesche. Edith passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Annandale, VA. She grew up in Stratford & graduated from Stratford High School with the class of 1952. She attended the University of Connecticut & University of Bridgeport.
In 1954, she married Josef B. Daubenspeck and they were divorced in 1983. In 2001 she married Richard C. Gasper and he died 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Robert J. Wesche and Jack R. Wesche; and her second husband.
She is survived by two daughters Laura E. (Daubenspeck) Bentley and Mike, Joanne E. (Daubenspeck) Young-Chewning and Peter; one son Carl J Daubenspeck; one sister Ann E. (Wesche) Stone; one siser-in-law Margaret (Kiley) Wesche; six grandchildren Erica & Andrew Bentley, Rachel Benson, Lindsay Daubenspeck, Kevin Young, and Krystal Daubenspeck; and three great grandchildren Fiona, Sativa, and Daciano Young.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date at the Graham Cemetery, Orange, VA. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
