Early Life: Stan was born March 16, 1929, in Orem, Utah, to Glen George and Bethana Henrie Adams.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: On December 22, 1948, Stan married Thelma Young. They were later sealed in the Manti Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in September 1971. Together they had three children: Stanley J. (Jan) Adams, Steven (Laurie) Adams, and Susan Jones. Stan retired in 1991 after 41 years of service at Mountain Fuel. Stan had many accomplishments including: a veteran that proudly served his country, president of Orem Chamber of Commerce, president of Provo Kiwanis Club, and member of Planning Commission of Orem for several years. He also served in the Provo Utah Temple for many years. One of his greatest accomplishments was the time he spent coaching baseball and later, watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play. Stanley D. Adams, of Orem, Utah, left this world December 30, 2018, surrounded by his family to be with his eternal love, Thelma. He was 89.
Predeceased By: His wife of 70 years, Thelma; sister, Rae Danner; and granddaughter, Natasha.
