Born January 14, 1957 in Nicholas County to the late Stanley Wilson and Corinne Bean Adair, he was a 1976 graduate of Nicholas County High School, attended Morehead State University, was a longtime employee of the University of Kentucky and member of the Wesley Chapel C.M.E. Church. William loved laughter, good conversation and great food. He was a very talented musician & vocalist who enjoyed traveling and crocheting.
Left to cherish his memory is his devoted companion of 21 years, Robert Straw, of New Albany, Indiana; his brother, Charles Marshall, of Cincinnati; 2 nieces, Annette Marie & Carla Ann Pryor, of Lexington; and a host of cousins.
Also preceding him in death was his brother, Johnny Logan Marshall, Sr.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Arthur Williams. Burial will follow in Henryville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. Saturday until the service.
