Mr. Grimes graduated from Huntingdon College and the Harrison School of Pharmacy.
He was the owner/pharmacist of City Drug Company of Opp, AL for 36 years.
Mr. Grimes was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucille Tipton Grimes; parents, L.C. and Sarah Whigham Grimes; brothers, Louie F. Grimes Sr. and Bill Grimes.
A graveside service for Mr. Grimes will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Lowery Church of Christ Cemetery with Greg Fleming officiating.
